Sun, Sea & History: A Summer Day Trip to Conwy & Llandudno!
Make the most of the summer sunshine with UBU! Join us for an unforgettable day trip that combines a historic walled town with Britain's finest Victorian seaside resort in North Wales.
Our first stop is the magnificent medieval town of Conwy. Explore the mighty Conwy Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage site, walk along the ancient town walls for incredible views of the estuary, and don't forget to grab a photo with the Smallest House in Great Britain!
Tickets for the Castle are not included in the price but cost just £9.10 for students.
Next, we'll head to Llandudno, the 'Queen of the Welsh Resorts'. Stroll along the classic Victorian pier, relax on the wide sandy beach, or take the famous tramway or cable car to the top of the Great Orme for breathtaking panoramic views of the coast.
It's the perfect mix of awe-inspiring history and classic summer holiday fun, all in one amazing day.
Tickets are £20 and you can bring your friends and family along too.

Welcome to UBU Day Trips! Our goal is to provide fun, affordable, and safe travel opportunities for students. To ensure everything runs smoothly and fairly for all participants, please read the following terms and conditions before booking your ticket. By purchasing a ticket, you agree to adhere to these terms and conditions.

1. What's Included
• Unless explicitly stated otherwise in the trip description, your ticket purchase covers return coach travel to and from the specified destination only.
• Entrance fees to venues, attractions, food, drinks, and any other personal expenses are not included in the ticket price. Please ensure you budget for these separately.
2. Cancellations and Refunds
- We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel your place on a trip, please adhere to the following policy:
- • Refunds: To receive a full refund, you must notify UBU of your cancellation at least three (3) working days before the date of the trip.
- • Definition of a Working Day: Working days are defined as Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, excluding UK bank holidays and official University closure days.
- • How to Cancel: Cancellations must be submitted via the Native platform where you purchased your ticket.
- • Late Cancellations: No refunds will be issued for cancellations made with less than three working days' notice.
• Trip Cancellation by UBU: If UBU has to cancel a trip for any reason, all ticket holders will be notified immediately and will receive a full refund.
3. Health, Safety, and Medical Information
Your health and safety are our highest priority. To ensure we can provide a safe environment for everyone, we ask the following:
• Disclosure of Medical Conditions: If you have a medical condition, disability, or specific access requirement that could impact your ability to participate safely in the trip, we strongly encourage you to disclose this to UBU in confidence at the time of booking.
• Purpose of Disclosure: This information allows us to conduct a risk assessment and, where possible, make reasonable adjustments to support your needs. It is crucial for your own safety and the safety of the group.
• Confidentiality: All information provided will be treated with the strictest confidence and only shared with essential staff (e.g., the trip leader) for safety purposes. UBU cannot be held liable for any incident arising as a result of a non-disclosed pre-existing condition.
4. Punctuality and Missed Departures
Our trips run on a strict schedule to ensure we make the most of the day.
• Departure Times: The coach will depart promptly at the advertised time from the specified meeting point. We advise arriving at least 15 minutes early.
• Your Responsibility: It is your personal responsibility to be at the departure and return points on time.
• Consequence of Lateness: If you are late and miss the coach for either the outbound or return journey, you agree that you will be responsible for arranging and funding your own alternative travel. No refunds will be provided for any part of the trip missed due to lateness.
