Football (Men's)

We are Bradford Men’s Football Association, or as we are more affectionately known – BUFC. We are one of the biggest clubs at the University as well as one of the most diverse with members of all races, religions, shapes and sizes. As well as being one of the most sociable clubs at the University, we host a whole range of events throughout the year, which will be held at the universtiy bar.

We welcome people of all abilities; whether you wish to just come to training sessions or compete for a position in one of our two squads that play on Wednesday afternoons in the British Universities League, join us watching the Premier League or Champions league football during the week, or just want to experience the University lifestyle as a member of one of the best and biggest social clubs in Bradford.

BUFC have a busy social calendar, from weekly Wednesday night socials and club events throughout the year, to the Old Boys Weekend, the biggest games of the year at Varsity and the Easter Tour - which was sadly cancelled last year! There is always something, if not several things, for everyone to enjoy.

As a club we will also be hosting a series of charity events over the coming year, from waxing with the cheerleaders to chairty runs along with other events.These events give everyone the opportunity to get involved whether you want to take part or help with the running and organisation of events. We are hoping to re-gain club of the year after sadly just missing out on retaining it last year.

We have two training sessions a week which are run by our two professional coaches, which allows every player the guidance and direction they need to progress throughout their university career, as well as build our squads into a successful and winning club. We also have a weekly S&C training slot. 

So if you love football whether its playing, watching or just talking about it be sure to keep a look out for our red and black team wear or black social jumpers on campus, as we are the club for you!!
