WE’RE BRADFORD'S RUGBY UNION CLUB - HOME TO THE ONLY WOMEN'S RUGBY TEAM ON CAMPUS AND THE MEN'S RUGBY UNION TEAM!
The Club believes in making the most of your time at University. Whether it’s meeting great characters, the camaraderie of a close team, a competitive sporting environment, or just having the best social events possible, we offer it all and welcome you to join as either a sporting and/or social member.
The Bradford Wolves (Women's) Team is made up of a diverse group of players, ranging in experience, age, fitness levels, shape, and size. We pride ourselves on supporting every individual’s rugby journey whether that be social, competitive, or a good mixture of both.
The Bradford Rams (Men's) Team offer a healthy balance between competitive and social rugby by always trying to improve as a team and compete at a high level, as well as integrating lads who have never picked up an egg-shaped ball before and bringing them on as players. Rugby players come in all shapes and sizes and we as a team welcome anyone and everyone. The University of Bradford received its charter in 1966 and The Rams is the original sports team with 55 years of history and old boys.

TRAINING
Our club execs work with regional RFU staff to optimise our player involvement, this means no matter your skill level or experience we’ll work hard to cater to you. Classroom sessions are held throughout the year to run through rules and general questions about rugby.
Our training sessions are held by our Chair, Captians, and RFU-qualified coaches.

GAMES
Our games are scheduled for Wednesday afternoons, we play both friendly and BUCS assigned games. We make sure there’s lots of contact practice and rugby knowledge for all our players so they can feel prepared for games. We won’t rush you onto the pitch, but we tend to find once you’re on you don’t want to come off!
SOCIALS
Wednesday night socials are a great way to bond as a team, we offer something for drinkers and non-drinkers every week. Every Wednesday night our social sec Tash runs a social at the UBU Bars (one of our sponsors), this often means games, themed nights and occasionally joint socials with the other sports teams on campus. Throughout the year the social secs host several non-drinking events, these typically include our Freshers Welcome meal, cinema trips, laser tag, and the Christmas markets.
Each year the Teams provide a social/ competitive team for Varsity (against Huddersfield), Team Bradford and Intramural.
All you need is a sports membership and an interest in egg-shaped balls, COME JOIN THE TEAM!!!
