'Bradford-ian' Anthology:
Submit Prose, Flash fiction, Poetry, and Essays by 22nd May 2024 to creativewritingsociety@ubu.bradford.ac.uk
Your Prose, Flash Fiction, Poetry or Essay pieces should be centred around the subject of 'Bradford' or set in 'Bradford' city. Feel free to interpret this in anyway you wish.
Word Count:
Flash Fiction-- 50 to 1000 words
Prose-- 2000 to 5000 words
Poetry-- 1 to 5 poems
Essays-- 500 to 3000 words
Successful entries will be announced by 22nd June 2024.
Note: Compensation to entrants will not be financial, but will come in the form of author-copies of the book, interviews to cushion authors' media-presence, author-readings, and other surprises!
Given Bradford’s diversity, we desire to see stories, poems and essays from several perspectives, inspired by different experiences/cultural points of view.
