BLOOMING UNDER BRADFORD SKIES
Blooming Under Bradford Skies reflects the multifaceted, multi-coloured beauty within Bradford, with the aim of speaking a different truth, speaking the real truth, about Bradford: that Bradford is and can be so much more. That Bradford, like every other city in the world is not perfect, and should, therefore, not be judged solely on the basis of imperfection. That Bradford has many more stories than those that make up popular rhetoric.
Above all, this book hopes to enounce this simple truth: that we are Bradford. Bradford is not a sentient organism existing independent of our inputs and outputs. Whatever Bradford looks and smells like in our day is merely the consequence of our stories—our actions, inactions, and reactions—and their intersection with the stories of others. Bradford is and can be so much more, of whatever we are and aspire to become.
